Abstract:This paper aims to explore the constructiontechniques, historical distribution, and uniquecharacteristics of the Kuixing Pavilion in the Bashuregion. By analyzing archival records and historicalimages, it examines the construction mechanismsand spatial-temporal distribution of these pavilions.Furthermore, more than ten well-preserved KuixingPavilions are selected as samples to investigate theirtimber frame characteristics, focusing on aspects suchas plan form, beam structure, and roof framing. Throughthis comprehensive analysis, the distinct features ofthe Kuixing Pavilion’s timber frame construction areidentified.
