Abstract:This paper delves into the vague descriptionsof the Xia Shishi Room, Yin Chongwu, and ZhouMingtang found in Winter Official Examination WorkRecords of Zhou Li. It also draws on the archaeologicalexcavation of the Yangshao Cultural Site, which includesthe potential sacrificial structure “F1 (the big house),”to explore the possible layout and appearance of thesethree ancient sacrificial buildings. By doing so, this paperoffers a preliminary examination of the recurring disputessurrounding the Ming Tang building system from Handynasty to Northern Wei dynasty, providing insight intothe possible plane form of these sacrificial structures,contributing to ongoing discussions on this intriguingtopic.
